Piano- Altered Book

Altered book i'm working on this week. Inside pages will have pouches, like a folder, using floral paper with silver background.
It's really cool how the elements of this book fell together, i already had all the findings in my stash, and the cover background is free art.

Wonderful Stash!

The last couple days have been so much fun! I got big envies just stuffed with all sorts of goodies. One came from Fran B, the other from Esmeralda S. Just had to put these pics up of all the fun thingies. Tons of ribbon, fuzzy string, papers, beads, sequins, cloth leaves & flowers, buttons, lace, tags, and three wonderful tiny cloth dolls. The envelope from Fran is made from a calender page, love it!

My latest little weavings. Think i'm going on a kick making all these little things, hehe. The tiny pouch I made for my computer memory stik. I think they turned out pretty good.

A new interest i've just taken up.
I discovered my beautiful blue iron chair makes a great loom (hehe).The panel, finally done, is one of three that will go on my hanging i'm working on.

The last one is a little beaded necklace.

Hideous Science Experiment

Gone terribly wrong, lol. Finally got the dumb thing done & it's just aweful, hehe.
I'll call it a learning experience 'cuz it doesn't deserve a real name.
Lots of mistakes that really stick out here, i'll tell you. First of all, i'll never
use white thread again. And I can't count how many blue beads got in there that are
supposed to be black. Wow! No clue how that happened.
But I did learn the steps for weaving on this little loom with beads. This will be
done again in the near future, the right way next time.

It's not gonna live long, lol.

A Little Freebie

This is a little pattern good for both beading and cross stitch. I am a cross stitcher that has just taken up weaving, both fiber & bead weaving, and have found how easy it is to convert stitch patterns to bead patterns.

A month of amends

Making amends, that is. The coming new month (January)I will not be doing any card swapping at all. It will be spent making up some old swaps that were never sent out.
